Competition in action sports is sometimes looked at negatively, but when you pay attention you learn that in action sports, more than in mainstream sports, the athletes cheer for and celebrate each other no matter who wins. Even though there are winners and losers, everyone celebrates, community is built and everyone strives to get better.
Through knxsports we will be have a strong focus on both serious major competitions, and regular fun “jam” series throughout the year. Competitions help us to legitimize our mission, it gives exposure to the individual athletes (hope and opportunity) and provide a positive economic and social impact to our community.
