Carol Evans and Legacy Parks Foundation have been instrumental partners in the incubation and birth of our vision for knxsports. Legacy Parks initially led the original development for the Knoxville Skatepark in 2007. Legacy Parks is also acting as our financial partner (instrument) as we wait on our 501(c)(3) status from the federal government.

Carol specifically has been a critical asset in connecting us with the right people and giving our team immediate credibility with various organizations and individuals throughout the community. Without the help of Carol and Legacy Parks the vision and dream of Knox Extreme Sports would only be that – a vision and a dream.

KSP is already a component of Outdoor Knoxville, the idea of “Get out and play” in our natural resources. The park is primarily an outdoor facility, and a place of energy and fitness and health. Knox Extreme Sports is an organization committed to experiencing sports and life outdoors, a core component of the mission of Legacy Parks.
