This is big, huge, massive for our city and our action sports community. Get the word out, let everyone know and get signed up.

What is the event?

The Grind for Life Series in Association with The Boardr is a Florida series of all ages/skills skateboarding contests benefiting the Grind for Life organization that assists cancer patients with travel expenses. You should pre-register now to save your spot. We are certain that most divisions will fill up. We will do our best to accommodate spots in the more popular divisions that fill up, but space and time are limited.

What is Grind for Life?

The mission of the Grind For Life organization is to provide financial assistance to cancer patients and their families when traveling long distances to doctors and hospitals. In addition, we educate and inspire these patients and families concerning cancer survival and recovery. Those who qualify may request assistance for travel and lodging expenses, meal, and personal needs.

Grind for Life Coming to Knoxville

Knox Extreme Sports is committed to bringing the Grind for Life series to KSP in 2015. Pending approval on the facilities use and the dates from the City of Knoxville Parks Department we have tentatively set September the 12th as the date for this event.

GFL is a huge event, attracting 2 – 4K spectators and hundreds of participants. GFL is a non-profit event where the dollars go to help those suffering from cancer.

Knoxville is the only destination in Tennessee, actually we are the only destination outside of the state of Florida, currently slated for GFL.  Thanks to Ryan and the guys at Boardr for hosting us in November to talk about the idea, and for giving us the opportunity to bring this event to Tennessee.
